Since early 2005, those who have been in-the-know in Scarborough have been stocking up on the latest fashion eyewear at Optical Lounge. Owner / Founder Goolam Begg has prided his store with personal service and the trendy inventory of brand name and exclusive frames.

Fast forward over 15 years, there are multiple locations (including Jane Street Optical) and an ever growing following of clients looking at what Goolam will bring in next. From new styles of Sunglasses, Prescription glasses, Contact lenses and recently the latest transition mirrored lens technology - there are lots of reasons to stay connected to Optical Lounge.

Optical Lounge relies on Halfsquare Designs to create a consistent stream of high-quality content, deliver top-tier responses for customer service and monthly data driven findings to improve customer engagement and drive store traffic.

For their 800+ followers, Halfsquare Designs publishes approximately 40+ posts per month based on the holidays and store events. From topic research / concept to publishing and analytics, Halfsquare Designs takes the lead with regular input from the Optical Lounge team about new arrivals and exciting product news.

Optical Lounge works within Halfsquare Designs regularly to ensure there is focus on the retailer’s organic strategy and approving the social media posts they schedule. The Halfsquare Designs team, curates and selects imagery for posts. Almost half of the posts are custom photography or video content - shot monthly at the Halfsquare Designs Studio. The draft post are schedule in Asana and flagged for Optical Lounge team for approval.

With Halfsquare Designs approval workflow, there are no surprises. All posts are staged in Asana with the proposed copywriting and photography/video. Assigned with an Asana login, Optical Lounge is able to provide feedback on every individual post. Final edits are reposted on Asana before the posting date.
